Which is why it should never, ever be done that way. Have some trustworthy body that already has that info - a bank, the government, whatever - verify your age to them once, and have the websites ask those for a simple yes/no verification if you are an adult or not.

Because they don't actually need to know who you are, they just need to verify if you are over 18 or not.
