So I have always wanted to write a comic, but I'm terrible at formatting and I have dyslexia making writing really difficult, please lower your expectations. This is a project run by a single person using whatever tools she could legally appropriate, that were generously shared by other people, in this chaotic world we live in.
This story follows a character going on a sponsored trip, that she earned by chance - after being made redundant at work with all these tech advancements going on. Also I must warn you any distressing theme might be featured. ** This is not an escapist comic, there's plenty of other fun artists already doing that if you're looking for that sort of work; this work is potentially very painful and explores trauma, failure, with success in between.
**I'm just guessing here I might be overestimating.
Some inspirations I draw upon while writing this include but are not limited to: Antonio Gramsci, Meow's select works, Nikolai Ostrovsky, Paprika, Squid Game, Some guy named Vlad Ilyich, Megamind, Vinland Saga.

To be honest I've always been somewhat jealous of artists who go to an art school and get a cushy job or money from (N)GO's to establish their modern art exhibits or their concerts, in places of where industry used to be, because de-constructing the factories is too expensive, re-opening them has no short term profits, so naturally what do you do? You put the artists in there to give the place some life. Sometimes there's some really beautiful work, other times it's just "Art for art's sake" which is impossible, that's why they end up with an empty blank cube as the final solution, which is basically the ultimate centrist art: nothingness, randomness. Too bad for them it's still political :P
Screw these institutions, anyone who is feeling down on their luck and like shit's crumbling around them should never underestimate the power of the human will. Humanity would have to go extinct before it breaks. I might have typed out too much again.
The point I'm getting at, a teacher once told me I'll be a worthless loser begging for money under the bridge. She should have read about the Ming Dynasty, what those so called "worthless beggars" can accomplish.
