"you can't serve 2 ( contradictory ) gods" is a principle identified by the root-guru of the Christians, benJoseph.
That's true.
IF your REAL goal is institutional-authority-on-lives, THEN surveillance, retaining-records, obliterating-subject-privacy, obliterating-subject-autonomy, etc, are IN your goal's religion.
IF your REAL goal is to help those who provide anonymous tips to get crimes prosecuted, THEN your behavior will be fundamentally different.
Never believe what politically-motivated people, ideologically-motivated people, OR institutions say, ONLY what they actually-do: it'll contradict what they say, consistently.
Actions speak louder than words .. is something our pseudojournalism gaslights us with, while holding that words are reality, & actions are powerless to falsify the asserted-words.
That is why MSM's consistently treated Putin's words as credulous, ignoring his actions' falsifying of those words, maintaining incredulity at them.
It's a kind of torquing-the-world-into-helplessness technique..
