❗️Statement issued by Hezbollah regarding the Knesset's approval of the ‘law to execute Palestinian detainees’

"Hezbollah condemns the Zionist Knesset’s move to approve the so-called ‘law to execute Palestinian prisoners,’ and considers this criminal decision a continuation of the enemy’s systematic terrorism and a further extension of the genocidal policy it practices against the sacrificing, patient, and steadfast Palestinian people.

This aggressive decision, issued by a fabricated entity that is savage and barbaric, which recognizes no international law and adheres to no moral standards, represents a dangerous attempt to institutionalize executions, legitimize deliberate killing, and provide false legal cover for an existing crime that this Zionist enemy has carried out for decades against Palestinian prisoners through brutal torture, deliberate medical neglect, and all forms of abuse, criminality, and inhumanity.

This entity has reached such levels of arrogance, impunity, and criminality as a result of the shameful international silence and failure to act in the face of its violations and massacres against children, women, civilians, and journalists, as well as its targeting of hospitals, schools, and shelters in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran. The continued policy of disregard and complacency by the international community toward these Zionist crimes and its blatant violations of international and humanitarian law will only encourage it to persist further in its crimes and continue the genocide against the Palestinian people.

Hezbollah expresses its full and unwavering solidarity with the heroic Palestinian prisoners and with the resisting Palestinian people, and calls on the international community in all its institutions—including the United Nations, the Human Rights Council, and the International Committee of the Red Cross—to take urgent and immediate action to fulfill their legal, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities, to halt this dangerous criminal descent, and to ensure the necessary protection for Palestinian prisoners unjustly held in the prisons of the occupying enemy."
