Growth in german wind capacity is slowing. Soo... then the plan is to keep on with lignite and gas? Am I missing something?

Unironically the German position right now. They're hardcore coal fans, they're the Appalachia of Europe.

For largely the same reasons. It's a hard sell to a mining town to stop being a mining town.
