I'm sure they would also happily attempt elimination of neurodivergent people.

Maybe but they also might just do away with all psychiatric treatments, who needs “happy pills” for depression when you can just praise the Lord?

[-] seitanic 24 points 11 months ago

I think they want to replace psychiatry with exorcism.

Praise the Lord and pasd the Ammunition!

[-] njm1314@lemmy.world 21 points 11 months ago

Well that's the next step.

[-] agent_flounder@lemmy.one 16 points 11 months ago

Indeed. No question about that at all.

[-] Lightor@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Until they realize how neuro divergent they all are, they just hide it all in cult nonsense.

[-] TechyDad@lemmy.world 4 points 11 months ago

Asa neurodivergent person, I'm insulted at being grouped with all the hateful bigots. Yes, I'm sure some of them are neurodivergent (just by sheer chance), but being a hateful bigot doesn't mean that they are neurodivergent.

[-] Lightor@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

Oh %100 I agree. I'm not implying one means the other. I'm implying they are too ignorant to understand what being neuro divergent is. I'm ND as well, and even "normal people" have trouble understanding it. I doubt a redneck who thinks cartoons will torn his kid gay gets it.
