Most other smartphone makers seem to have decided on having all of the buttons on the right side - power and volume ones too. OnePlus (and parent company Oppo) goes its own way with the power button on the right and the volume rocker on the left.

Ooops that foes NOT sound good.

When you press the power button, depending on how you hold the phone, you might also end up accidentally pressing the lower part of the volume rocker

When I press the power on my current similar sized phone, I have my long finger directly opposite, exactly where they put the volume.

IDK if anyone has experience with this phone, because I was seriously considering to buy this phone next month. But this seems so stupid I'm reconsidering now. Maybe it's something you easily get used to?

I got used to it pretty quickly, though every now and again I'll accidentally take a screenshot hitting power and vol down together.

Not enough to be annoying and usually only after a couple of edibles..

For context, came from an iPhone 13. Can't even remember now where the buttons were on that one.

OK I guess that screenshot function can be disabled? And then take screenshots with gestures.

Went and checked, and the key combo can be turned off, and there are two options for screenshot via gestures.

Sounds like a plan. ๐Ÿ˜€
