Dudes in '37 were willing to burn down the fucking buildings with the ownership locked inside, dudes today wanna simp for the owners and tell them it's ok that they treat them like shit.

Business owners back then got military support to kill striking workers so the stakes were generally pretty high. When bosses start calling in drone strikes on picket lines maybe we’ll start seeing less love for the boot.

Business owners also have knowledge and experts on the last hundred years of business to know how to handle this. They know being too hard will cause unrest and revolt. You slowly turn up the heat to cook the workers.
