Interesting to see a flat cut for the rootstock - I was told I should always chamfer the cuts to make sure that the scion doesn't just rest on the edges of the rootstock as it dries out and becomes concave and fails to take as the result.

Seems this one took nicely without chamfering though, so guess it's maybe only a rule for beginners like me :)

I am in no ways an expert in any of this. I’m just learning as I go. This was a graft I purchased from a vendor who seemed reputable, and so far has really proven to be such. The double dragons are doing well and I’ll hopefully post some progress pics soon
