This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.
This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.
We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

Someone needs to physically go to Blizzard headquarters, gain access to their account system and remove my license for Diablo 4. I have lost far too much time to this game in the past couple of weeks shit is too addicting. Fantastic game though I’d say, already better in every way compared to D3.
How does it compare to D2?
Still very different games I would say. A lot of people will probably still prefer D2 but I think 4 does a good job of expanding upon systems and adding complexity missing in D3 while still keeping things streamlined.
I think also they achieve the D2 sort of atmosphere much more but it still isn’t quite the same. I haven’t really properly played D2 in well over a decade though so I could be off base.
My problem is I need someone who isn't Blizzard to make a Diablo-clone that doesn't try to stick its hands in my wallet every half an act. Kotick's still there, and I will not have that bloated parasite getting even a buck richer off me.
That's more than reasonable, completely agree. I wasn't intending to buy the game either but a friend got it for me as a surprise birthday gift so figured I had no choice but to enjoy it.
Would love more Diablo clones in general, not even sure I've played one other than the first Torchlight. Something more linear and co-op focused would be ideal if anyone is listening.
In those cases, at least it wasn't your money...
