Cocktails, the libationary art!
A place for conversation about cocktails, ingredients, home mixology, the bar industry or liquor industry, glassware - this is not an exhaustive list. If you think it's in some way related to cocktails it's probably fine.

Mentioning your blog, insta, website, book or bar is allowed, yes. For now at least, we do allow self-promotion. If it gets out of hand this might change.
A good post with a drink you don't like is still a good post! Try not to conflate the drink and the post or poster. If someone has a relevant title, gorgeous photo and clearly formatted recipe of what you consider a truly terrible drink, a comment is more appropriate than a downvote.
On that topic: Polite critique/reviews of drinks (or posts, images, etc.) is allowed here. Encouraged , even. It's a good tool for improving your drinks and content. Really, just be nice.
My fall syrup of choice is a simple syrup I mad with honey and demarara, plus as it cooled down, I plopped in two earl grey tea bags. Makes a killed old fashioned.
Oh man earl grey syrup is so good but never made it like that before. That does sound like that would be pretty good. I've mostly used the tea bags to just flavor basic simple or vodka.
I mean it's just a step up from simple syrup. Use brown sugar and/or honey in place of or a fraction of the white sugar. Then just be sure not to burn your tea.....
So you think you could make the tea first and use the tea as water?
Ah yes many recipes call for water and a sugar cube. I normally use simple syrup.
Yeah just make a double strength tea and use it instead of water.
