I remember delicious > stumbleupon > digg > popurls > reddit and now Lemmy. Of course that is just in terms of the main link aggregation service I used at the time. There's no money in aggregating links, in fact it costs money and that's the same mistake all these services have made. So that's why I'm making the decision to run my own instance.
