I noticed that a few dealers that I frequently use simply disappeared. I contacted directly one of them and apparently, there's stricter guideline for authorized dealer. Is anyone aware of it or if you have similar experience with authorized dealer?

Just contact the dealer directly and ask them. They'll probably polish it for you just to have a happy customer who might buy more jewelry directly from them in the future.
