My first sunflower, grown from seed. Seeing it bloom with its deep yellow petals makes me irrationally happy. I love plants. (lemmy.sdf.org)

I absolutely love growing mammoth sunflowers. The bumblebees that they attract is so amazing.

I unfortunately haven't been able to get the ones I grow to be very tall. They never grow taller than about half a meter even in a big pot. They're still pretty but I wish they would grow bigger.
