It’s Official: With “Vermin,” Trump Is Now Using Straight-up Nazi Talk He’s telling us what he will do to his political enemies if he’s president again. Is anyone listening?

I feel pretty safe in saying that we can now stop giving him the benefit of that particular doubt. His use—twice; once on social media, and then repeated in a speech—of the word “vermin” to describe his political enemies cannot be an accident. That’s an unusual word choice. It’s not a smear that one just grabs out of the air. And it appears in history chiefly in one context, and one context only.

Is that eagle... shooting a machine gun?

[-] extant@lemmy.world 4 points 9 months ago

That's an Atchisson AA-12 which is a fully automatic 12 gauge shotgun. Which may technically qualify as a machine gun depending on interpretations of the law.

Everyone has a right to an AA-12 with a 100 shell drum mag filled with explosive rounds, as seen in the greatest Oscar snub of all time when Terry Crews didn't win best actor for killing everyone with one in The Expendables.

But do we all have the right to this weapon borne by an eagle? I don't see any historical laws saying that you can't have trained eagles with deadly weapons flying overhead everyone at all times!

[-] DragonTypeWyvern@literature.cafe 3 points 9 months ago

If we outlaw training eagles to provide air support what's even the point of America?

[-] PersnickityPenguin@lemm.ee 1 points 9 months ago

I don't think I would be able to lift that.

Not only that, but is Trump holding a Barrett M90? Imagine the hilarity that would ensue if that fucking potato actually shouldered and fired one of those.
