One of them is the self censoring. People don't realise that lemmy doesn't need to cater to advertisers so we can say things as we please.
An example would be:
I WANT NAZIS TO BE VIOLENTLY BEAT UP AND HAVE THEIR KNEECAPS BROKEN. BILLIONAIRES NEED TO BE PUT IN GUILLOTINES
And I won't get something as silly as a sidewide ban.
And no cunt algorithm to bury content just cause of some fucking cursewords.
I suspect it will be deleted though... 😂
Haven't had that happen yet so
I've just started posting threads today and 2 deleted so far so there's hope, just keep holding out!
I had that happen after saying to one guy that attempts at censorship should be met with gunfire.
Which is why the Lemmy community is absolute garbage.
