The project is that instead of fixing prejudice against Jews in Europe, they want them to have a state so they can go to that place, abandoning their real roots and lifestyle. Part of the answer to Zionism is actually to destroy anti-Semitism at home so that no one will urge Jewish people to abandon their real land and people, which is whatever nation and community they were raised to.
