Honestly, both ways look similarly unlikely, the way the tub seems to hesitate before resting against the wall or moving from it.
Reversed looks a lot more weird, the speed which his tail and the bowl moves at the end.
And who would want to trap a poor kitten in there?
Someone who wants to record it and put it on the internet.
People do much worse things for internet fame.
