just curious, is there a benefit to running your own front end in docker? what is your experience with it containerized? are you running it through nginx? (lemmy.world)

Does it run faster, have less errors? Just curious if it is worth it to add to my Unraid server. What is your experience?

It was more important when we were being rate limited originally. Now not so much, but I'm largely keeping it until Sync is ready.

Not on the container side, I just run the vanilla instance. On my phone I run Nova so I can pick whatever icon I want for the installed pwa app, but I'm boring so I didn't. After reinstalling it a bunch of times trying to debug stuff I gave up changing it.
