Can probably be remapped too, personally I like how simple the shortcut in Windows is (
Win+.).I'd remap it to
Cmd+.On the Moon: Ganymede
on linux: ibus
There is a tab with emoticons in the text input field of Lemmy's posts. At least in the mobile version of the site.
