Didn't do high tea. We stayed in the Gold section of the hotel which had just undergone a multi million dollar renovation. The rooms were nice and the lounge was nice, but the service, attention to detail, and personalization was no where near that of the Chateau Whistler Gold section or Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Gold section or Fairmont Waterfront Gold. I'll visit Victoria again, but pick one of the many other boutique hotels there. For the price we paid I just don't feel we got our moneys worth. They're coasting on grand history and it shows.
