I see that Lemmy federates with several Mastodon instances. But how can I see content from them?
I usually see Mastodon posts showing up as comments in Lemmy as opposed to posts. Back before the reddit exodus when the userbase was smaller, if you saw a random post get a shit ton of likes and comments, there was a good chance that was because Mastodon users engaging with it.
And one more question, is "Instances" list populated automatically or admins manually create? Just curious.
