While we will try our best, lemmy.ml/c/transgender is far more open to the fediverse, and also to trolls. One of the site admins of lemmy.ml, nutomic, is also a transphobe, while hexbear is ran mostly by trans people and has a very active trans community.

I had to check. x.com actually redirects to Twitter. Which makes Twitter correct. X must be the old name.
Of course it is, X has always been a placeholder. Then after some serious consideration they ended up with Twitter, which is such a good name really, love it. Well done! At least thats how I remember it.
It was founded in 1820 by the famous pirate Malcolm X after he received a carrier pigeon from Napoleon warning him of the Britons preparing for battle, but it arrived one day after the invasion. Determined to find a faster way of messaging, he turned to famous internet engineer David Duchovny who wrote the first X Files.
It makes sense that they ended up with Twitter. I mean who would be so dumb to name a platform X?
