Yes, but that is the only realistic way to do this. In praxis is basically never happens unless you start spamming etc.
Does this work with Discord normal accounts?
Yes, if you mean the Slidge Discord transport.
Though I'm more intrested to see how it looks from XMPP side aka servers vs DMs
