The details I do know, based on Instagram posts from both CNT Barcelona and their opposition, is that:

Holy crap. This is awful. Totally against the ethos and culture of the entire organisation as I know it.

Oh shit, that's horrible. Do you happen to know how the CNT became so transphobic and started collaborating with police? Up until now I thought they were pretty cool (mostly because of the role they played in the spanish revolution).

They have been like that for at least a decade. As with every anarchist movement, if the ones trying to impose hierarchy within it aren't kept in check, it becomes reactionary.

IIRC a few years ago a branch of the CNT (can't remember if it was the same one) did a fucking eviction of their own comrades with the help of cops. Nasty bunch.

Are you an Anarchist? The answer might surprise you!

Rules:

  1. Be respectful
  2. Don't be a nazi
  3. Argue about the point and not the person
  4. This is not the place to debate the merits of anarchism itself. While discussion is encouraged, getting in your “epic dunks on the anarkiddies” is not. As a result of the instance’s poor moderation policies and hostility toward anarchists by default, lemmygrad users are encouraged not to post here, though not explicitly disallowed if they aren’t just looking to start a fight.
