Apart from the poor analysis of the actual poll results, there's also a reasonable question about how accurate the polls are. Last election, the polls massively over-rated Labour, but still called the overall result right, so there wasn't much blowback.

In 2019, the Aussie pollsters predicted a Labor win, but got it wrong. There's every chance the same could happen here this time, especially in a tight race. Most of the polling companies are Australia owned.
