"If you’re interested in what that means, Adam Curtis has a good explanation YT, and the entire documentary Hypernormalization is a great watch." - you might find something in that documentary that could clear up some confusion? Not sure though as I don't know what the mod meant either, and can't watch the doc at the mo as I'm at work.
