Absolutely. In the last several weeks, I’ve had more civil, respectful disagreements than I had in years on The Site That Shall Not Be Named. I forgot how nice it is to see thought provoking opinions. Even if my personal opinion on an issue doesn’t change much, it’s great to have a better understanding of other perspectives.

Not like the points mean anything. Are they even tallied up anywhere? I got a bunch of downvotes for accidentally stumbling a moderate comment into a communist instance while on All, so I somewhat identify with the comment, except for the caring part.
wasn't there an anti-communist post that got like 1k+ here? the counter post to it got less I think. I think you just need to go to the right communities man, it's a vast world out there
