The AnimeBytes outage from yesterday was because of this, DNS registrar seems to have gone down with all it's .tv domains, and this has taken down lots of sites

The AB people seem to be gearing to either move to another domain or to fully nuke the site if they suspect they're being directly targeted (at this point it feels like too much paranoia but it's understandable in their position), the old domain is likely to be abandoned no matter what though.

Yeah .tv is a little too mainstream, .to might be a better haven. Or any of the other small TLD's.
