No they didn’t, they kicked it back to Congress where it belongs. They NEED to enforce the 14th amendment. It’s not automatic.

WE THE PEOPLE, need to hold Congress accountable to do their fucking job.

My representative was behind the insurrection in the first place. He'll reply "Get wreckd lib" and laugh

If Trump gets reelected, he will try to undo the term limits. His fans wanted him already on his first term.

It's funny how statistical proximity to death is the main problem with one candidate, and the only redeeming feature of the other.

I doubt Trump would get to enjoy a third term even if he managed to open for it.

Time to act is yesterday, fellas. May your pitch forks be pointy, and your torches be burny.

As a non-American, can someone explain the difference between the 9-0 decision and the 5-4 decision?

All 9 justices agreed that a state can’t just kick a candidate off the ballot. This makes sense as we’d get states like Florida trying to kick Biden off and it’s devolve to which party controls enough states to kick the other guy off the ballot

Even though all justices agreed who was correct, they did not agree on why, which is common. 5 of those justices agreed with the opinion that ONLY CONGRESS can explicitly state who has participated in an insurrection and therefore is disqualified.
