I have that scooter. I wouldn't worry, the ninebot max is one of the most sturdy and supported products of all time, with plenty of tutorials on changing out any part (and presumably buying the parts). I would expect the G2 to be no different given some time.
However it is a very new product, and my first one had a bluetooth issue and had to be exchanged. Buy it in person from bestbuy
Otherwise I'd say just get a regular Max for half the price.
(the suspension is sweet tho)
