The effectively can't ban VPNs and even if such an absolutely ludicrous law were to be passed, VPN traffic can still be hidden to appear as normal traffic. It's all bullshit bluster from idiots who have no understanding of how technology works at all. VPNs are absolutely vital to the function of businesses and institutions, banning them would be an absolute disaster for everyone but criminals who make money from stealing data and maybe dictators (though they'd still be screwing themselves over in the long run).

One minute you're just hanging out in the universe, existing, the next you're getting spaghettied by a supermassive black hole traveling at over 2 million MPH.

Came here to recommend them myself, I've tried lots of different socks trying to find something that was on par with the old Smartwool socks (new ones are shit by comparison) and Darn Tough is the only brand I've found to me worth the cost.

There's nothing wrong with looking things up, and it teaches future you what to do/how things work.

That said, troubleshooting is a skill that can be applied to anything. It's mostly just eliminating variables and patience sometimes, but even professionals still look stuff up regularly. All that reading and research helps you build a foundation to help inform your troubleshooting though.

Also, +1 for man! If you need to know more about a command in the terminal, just type "man" (short for manual) then whatever the command is and you'll be presented with documentation regarding the command!

Most of the better games are indie games these days anyways. The AAA titles are the same old shit for a higher price, I'm already not playing them so I don't need bleeding edge graphics to run the good new games anyhow.

Not a fucking chance, Jeff.

Gotta wonder what their motives to push for this are. How many of them have ties to the automotive industry? Energy industry?

I'm on board with devs making text more readable for the Steam Deck, but the Steam Machine would have much larger screens where this wouldn't really be a problem for it.

They're less cumbersome to carry, but they're more cumbersome in terms of ride quality or if you have to haul stuff. Personally, I opt for a skateboard if I need something compact for super short distance, but I understand the appeal of scooters because they don't have the steep learning curve that boards do.
