So I'm looking for ThinkPad alternatives, so far I've see repairable laptops like the Framework laptop and the Tuxedo linux laptops. What other choices do I have if I want a tough, reliable, and utilitarian computer?

Guess the Dell Latitude line of laptops. Haven't personally tried them but they are business grade so maybe they cover what you're looking for

I've had older ones and they're nice. Newer ones are a lot closer to the XPS line of machines, but those are also pretty damn good for a regular consumer grade laptop.

The Panasonic ToughBook and ToughPad series are engineered to be, like the name implies, tough. I had a customer who purchased those almost exclusively, and I never had anything bad to say about them (except for cost).

Are the used prices still pretty extreme?

Yeah, kind of.
