I yearn for days of yore where one could actually be a somewhat private individual, I really really do. I miss it.

I also love street view so much. I use it to assuage anxiety over going to a new place, verify past information, and as an irreplaceable remote sensing tool for work stuff.

Tough call, but probably one of the few where I lean opposite of privacy based on how much it genuinely improves my life.

As a German with strong privacy needs I think the Streetview privacy debacle was incredibly overblown. People acted like it's some sort of real time view of all places at all times. Personally I think the privacy issues with it are minimal and the benefits of it far outweigh them.

Same here. I have huge trouble going outside, especially to places I haven't been to. If I had an appointment somewhere I'd use it to scout out the area, to make sure I know how the building I have to go to looks like. It just reassures me and helps me not to lose my nerves too much.

I also believe there's a huge benefit from like a historical point of view. Cataloging snapshots on how things looked like throughout the years and how much they change, with the ability to go back to them, is an incredible tool for a lot of different reasons.
