I tried to use DALLE to make Ohio by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young and the AI told me it can't make an image from a prompt that may include "political controversy".

AI bots have language and "morality" censors. Some are worse than others.

Which AI generator are you using for these?

No, I use copilot, gemini and a bunch of others.

Are these web based? Maybe more specifically, are there generators that I don't need an account to use?

[-] philo@lemmy.ca 2 points 7 months ago

The ones I use you need an account for. I don't know if any generate images without an account. You can do a web search to find out.

Do you have any tips? I tried midjourney a number of times, but mostly get abstract stuff. Like for "Bang a Gong" I got

this

and

this.

Do you do anything besides paste in the lyrics?

Send a message to our new mod Anissem since that is what he uses.

Can we change the rules to be just the song title?

[-] AFKBRBChocolate@lemmy.world 1 points 7 months ago

Personally I think the way it is is much more fun. The lyrics often have different things that the AI ends up focusing on.

[-] philo@lemmy.ca 1 points 7 months ago

what do you mean? Just put the song title through the AI?

[-] hddsx@lemmy.ca 0 points 7 months ago
[-] philo@lemmy.ca 3 points 7 months ago

why do you want to do that? That ruins the fun.

[-] hddsx@lemmy.ca 0 points 7 months ago

I think it’s more inclusive. I know way more titles than song lyrics.

[-] philo@lemmy.ca 1 points 7 months ago

you can get lyrics from google.

[-] hddsx@lemmy.ca 0 points 7 months ago

Yes, but you have to know approximately what is in the songs.

It looks like you’re not open to it. Good luck with your community

[-] philo@lemmy.ca 2 points 7 months ago

To find lyrics on google all you need is a title. If you just want to post from a title, there are other AI image communities, this one is for a game and the rules are clear.

I think their really talking more about guessing than posting - if it was just about the title it would be easier to guess if you don't know the lyrics. But I like the way you're doing it. Sometimes the AI focuses on the title words, but often not.

The Lyrics Game

Anybody can post a challenge.

The rules of the game are simple, take any song you like from any genre you want, put the lyrics through any AI [you may weight lyrics as the AI allows] that you want and post the resulting image here under the post title Name That Song [GENRE]. After 48-72 Hours or if the answer is guessed sooner, edit the post's title to [Solved][Genre] and put the song title and artist (and optionally any highlighted lyrics) in a spoiler tag in the body of the post.

Other than that, enjoy.

Here is a list to a few AI image generators you can use.
