No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.
6. No linking to piracy
Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

This looks so incredibly soulless.
Dont we have enough these types of games? Didn't the DC one just flop hard?
This is the first time I'm hearing that there was a DC one lol
The beta starts soon but this game doesn't give me much hope. It's a cool idea to combine all of the heroes, but it's being made by NetEase. The combat also didn't feel very impactful and the environments felt a bit bare.

The maps made me think overwatch BUT the 3rd person and arrows and UI elements made the think SMITE more tbh
Visual style for sure.
Overwatch has far better voice acting though, the lines from this clip sounded like practice lines that should have been cut. Like someone clearly pretending to be excited instead of actually sounding excited.

The UI and hitmarkers are even really similar
Genuinely it almost feels like a clone or a mod. Although really overwatch 2 seems to be in such a terrible spot that I wouldn't be surprised if it was purposeful.
This looks pretty rough as it is. Like someone else said the combat doesn't look impactful at all (I mean what the heck was that thing shooting at Hulk?), the art style is kinda mid, the VA isn't doing that many favors (other than Yuri as Spider-Man).
The only thing that looked kinda fun was the Rocket/Groot team-up move.
They just could have added skins to Overwatch.
This is just modded Overwatch.
But now its will be a separate full price purchase.
It's not F2P? Pfft.
Oh, I don't know. But knowing new era Marvel games, even if it is "F2P" it's not F2P.
I was somewhat interested when I heard the rumours for this, but the trailer really doesn't instill much confidence

Why did they make it boring on purpose?
All I could think about was it'd be nice if this were a single player game with tighter/fleshed out mechanics. Be cool to do some PvE with a good story.
I mean, there's always Spiderman and Wolverine will be coming out soon.
I liked the Darkchylde form. Still not my kinda game. I might play for a second if they add Phoenix just because.
