That's great! How did you do it? Is the insert meant to be removed or did you had to put it on top of the old one?

Sorry for the late reply.

The original insert was a grey felt nearly-rigid shell that Velcros in so you can remove it for washing.

I bought a yard of moss green felt, and used spray glue and a steam iron to shape and glue it over the original felt shell, then sewed the edges down.

I have one big, rusty, bowl. I'm tempted to cover its insides with felt cloth now. 😁
