Has anyone else noticed a lot of white supremacist/nazi/racist/homophobic stickers trying to recruit people in the city lately? I’ve seen a lot near Coors Field and it’s extremely upsetting.

I try to take them down or draw over them with sharpie if I can but I’m wondering if anyone else has noticed this uptick in fascist tags everywhere.

Last year, we had a major problem with homeless people into this shit in Boulder. You may recall there was a homeless encampment with Nazi and Christian Nationalist flags in South Boulder that went viral on Reddit and Redditors went and stole the flags. Those same assholes were also selling lots of meth.

The long time homeless folks in Boulder HATED it because it was reflecting badly on them and was causing public spaces to be closed to them. So they teamed up and ran the Nazi meth heads out of town. I wouldn't be surprised if that just meant "they moved to Denver."

Springs area, haven't seen any around here lately but I don't get out very often.

Antifa usually keeps a good eye on local Nazis. I'll reach out to some old friends and see if there's any rumors on the grapevine.

No word back yet, but if I had to guess, I'd imagine a local group is pissed about the state assault weapons ban coming down soon.

Any specifics on these stickers that might help narrow things down?

Plenty of Patriot Front recruitment stickers with URLs, some of which say things about traditional family values. Some “White Lives Matter” stickers with URLs and QR codes which I haven’t opened. Some that just outright say “I hate” followed by racist slurs along with a swastika hidden behind various popular cartoon characters like Hello Kitty and Peter Griffin. Today I saw a confederate flag sticker for the first time. They’re not specific enough to identify who might be putting them up.
