[Support - Solved] Sopuli is very slow to load when I'm logged in (sopuli.xyz)

Basically what the title says: Sopuli is super slow to load when I'm logged in, taking anywhere from 10 seconds up to a whole minute to load the website. I also just noticed that the Subscribed tab takes considerably longer to load that Local. The only add-on I have enabled on Sopuli is uBlock, but I've disabled that, but no significant effect. Is this a server thing, ie is Sopuli getting heavy traffic or is the mistake more likely to be on my end?

Sopuli has been having some issues lately, but the owner says he's looking into it.

Chiming in, this post takes a good 10 seconds to load for me. Also experiening tons of time outs loading comments in threads, upvoting often times out, and I usually cannot load my profile either.

Both Web and Sync For Lemmy. Been experiencing issues for at least a week now.

Idk what's going on but it's only slow when I'm logged in. I think a similar thing is happening on another website, but just that one other website. I haven't disabled the add-ons in Firefox, but they're not activated (uBlock, Privacy Badger, Consent-o-Matic).

Sopuli was very slow for a day for me a couple days ago. It's been better since, but still slower than it has been.

I have having major issues lately as well using the voyager app. My account on sopuli.xyz is the only one with issues, my alt on another instance works just fine.

It takes a long time to load anything, and comments in posts turn up in my inbox several days delayed.

Hoping you find the cause of this soon 👍

I'm pretty sure it's a bug somewhere in Lemmy and not technically speaking an issue on the server itself. It's slow for me too every now and then, few times a week or so for couple hours, regardless of what I'm doing.

I've had that happen since a couple months ago. Actually I don't use the subscribed tab anymore, I go to all - top12h mainly. I don't know if it's a Sopuli problem or a Jerboa problem, but I do get a lot of timeouts if trying to use subscribed.

It also loads slower on the webpage so I think it may be Sopuli, but yeah this is an ongoing problem :)

I have been trying different clients myself trying to determine if it is mlem or sopuli that is slow. Hopefully we can get some more sopulaiset on the Patreon so the server can be upgraded again.

Cheers, good to know I'm not just imagining things. As a side note, I'm mainly using Lemmy on desktop, haven't used it on mobile for a while.
