reddit only shows a certain number of the most recent comments on your profile - I wanna say 1000, but I might be completely wrong about the specific number. PowerDeleteSuite only works on your profile page, so it won't delete or replace comments that aren't shown there anymore.
Reddit started off with fake engagement in order to grow the site, so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if more than half of the site was engagement bots running around. They likely have an entire suite of tools for such a thing.
Same. Recently got an email for a comment I deleted, it was extremely hostile and strange considering the age of the original post.
My old comments did not show in my profile. I made a data access request and deleted them with a script. Google searches on my username confirms the comments are now gone.
