YouTube is fucking unusable on mobile. I couldn't even tell what website I was on and why I had TikTok ads in my face that autoplayed. Closed them and the content I wanted to view was gone and there was a video of a little dog instead. FUCK off

Yes. You can make it the default YouTube player on android, so you click a YouTube link and it opens in the newpipe app.

Something like Settings > apps> default apps > opening links > newpipe Then select the urls you want to open in newpipe. Also select the YouTube app and don't allow it to open links
