I don’t think it’s for me. I’d be much more interested in something that came close to a faithful mechanical reproduction of pathfinder 2e. Still, I hope the various licensed games coming out do well.
I am mildly interested but not interested enough to back it on Kickstarter. I am reserving judgement until it comes out. I do hope it's fun, though, and I hope we get more Pathfinder video games.
As long as it used the PF2E rules and not PF1E or D&D or none of the above, then I'm for it.
But it's not using the rules of the actual tRPG, then I'd give it a pass. But that's just me. I'm not really into video games. But I am when they have the right angle to them.
Also - I'd need to be able to mod it to a Skyrim / Sims 4 level of modding. Even if I could only do that in an offline mode - that'd be what I'd need to maintain interest.
I'm not sure how much the ruleset is going to translate to an ARPG, but I feel like they did say it was based on the PF2e ruleset, not the PF1e rules. I'm pretty sure basing a Pathfinder game off the D&D ruleset is not in the realm of possibility, given the current friction between the two companies.
