When I open a PDF and then go back to homescreen the app closes itself and it's not alive in background (I'm on android 10)...anyone have same experience? this happen with mupdf and mupdf mini too

Have you tried any previous builds. Sometimes new updates comes with software bugs. It has happened to me many times and I end up installing old builds until it gets fixed.

I personally don't have a PDF reader since Firefox can open them and so can Fossify Files
