A bit disappointing, but not too surprising. Going from a propellant transfer demo in early 2025 to a crewed lunar landing in September 2026 is a pretty agressive timeline.

It was aggressive before the first flight.

Remember, they were supposed to originally test the lunar landing in Q1 2024.

Crew Dragon and Starliner were originally supposed to begin operations in 2017. SLS was supposed to launch in 2016. Back in the 90s, JWST was scheduled to launch in 2007. It would be shocking if Starship development wasn't delayed.

The Artemis program was way too late in realizing that they would need a crew lander and EVA suits...

If I die this year like planned, I will not have been alive during any human stepping foot in the moon.

...in what way is it planned? Prognosis or resolution?

Some are drawn in too soon, but there are some that are held out too long, believe it or not. I hope you get to enjoy as much of the time you have, and that you come to peace with the end, whenever it comes, hopefully with as little unpleasantness as possible.

Please accept an awkward hug from a stranger...
