He did not send questions to the White House ahead of time, nor did he get approval for the topics to be discussed during the interview.

Recording began as soon as Biden was miked and sitting in the chair that Friday at 2:50 p.m. Earlier that day, Biden’s press staff had said the president would have only 10 minutes for the interview, instead of the previously agreed upon 20 minutes. We requested that the interview go the full 20 minutes. You can hear during the unedited interview a couple of moments when White House staff interrupted to signal that the interview should come to a close. Biden seemed eager to continue talking.

I know it seems like I'm super pro Biden and I actually would be if he wasn't super fucking old. BUT, all of the media (all. of. it) hasn't said a peep about trump's performance and has completely sidestepped his felony conviction and all of the other gaffes he does to let Biden's bad performance take over the headlines. They also focus on "Biden should step down" and all that other shit. I don't see another candidate taking his place, it's the r's that want that at this point because they know they'll have a hard time winning against Biden. Biden has great people working for him and isn't playing golf 90% of the time. We can survive him being at 80%, I'm not sure we can survive another trump.

Everyone who, like me, felt sick from the moment he opened his mouth in the debate, should watch this interview. I wanted him to drop out, now I'm completely reassured.

I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic, I'm glad you're not.

Definitely not sarcasm.

An issue still remains for me though: this interview is almost a year old. And the state of the union address (which was also very good) was almost 7 months ago. If he has another strong speech or interview soon, I will be completely reassured.

A strong second debate would be awesome too, but I see no reason now for Trump to agree to another one.
