Okay, so I have just spent time faffing about and getting access to this, instead of prepping my session that is starting in an hour.

Time to crack out those random tables again.

I posted in reddit how to get this working... Others may find it useful to have it listed here.

(this is on android mobile) (not included the click by click, as likely you will find the correct buttons yourself)

  1. Create an account with lemmy.world
  2. Do not use autofill/copy pasting when filling in the account information
  3. Wait for the account verification email to arrive and follow the link (took about 20 minutes max for me for the email to arrive).
  4. Log in to lemmy.world on the lemmy.world website...
  5. Search for !dndnext@ttrpg.network (set everything to All where possible).
  6. Subscribe/book mark that one. 7.If you want, install the app Jerboa for Lemmy.
  7. Make sure you set your instance (Lemmy.world) and account details in that.
  8. It will automatically know you have a subscription to ttrpg.network dndnext

There's a couple other dnd communities on different servers. !dnd@lemmy.ca !dnd@lemmy.world -- and several others. I'm moderating the one on lemmy.ca. I'll add a link to this one on the sidebar there.

Jerboa is decent. Probably take a while to get sync/relay/Apollo quality apps, but this is a good start. Definitely better than mobile.

I found some 3rd pary app for Lemmy called Jerboa. It was the first result in the android app store. What's the official app?

Oh i don’t think there’s an “official” app. Lemmy is too decentralized for that.

Personally I am using kbin.social to get in. I find the interface for finding magazines easier. I actually registered with a google login I have as was easier as it yahoo mail (my go to for spam) was not recieving the email to register. But with Google was one click
