The fighter is a collaboration between the UK, Italy, and Japan.

"BAE Systems (UK), Leonardo (Italy), and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan), with additional contributions from companies like Avio Aero, ELT Group, IHI, MBDA, Mitsubishi Electric, and Rolls-Royce."

Note, concept and design stage, and hasn't been funded to be built yet, afaik.

Yeah, it appears entirely conceptual, but if it gets picked up, we'll be seeing development for the next decade.

I'll be at the Airshow tomorrow so I can check it out further. With BAE UK's involvement, it feels like a cross between the Eurofighter and the F-35.
