Beatings will continue until morale improves. This guy and Stefano Domenicali will try everything, other fix the inconsistencies in stewarding.
There is also a strong correlation between a sports referee, steward, umpire, whatever being unaccountable for their actions and really bad decisions frequently being made.
While abusing them is obviously not acceptable, stopping people involved in the sport from making any criticism of them, no matter how valid, is not a good way for a sport to be run.
