[Image description: a dozen ducklings in various shades of yellow and brown rest under the potting bench in our greenhouse]

Y'all - I'm so excited. We had a disappointing first round of hatching with only three ducklings, but Pearl (tail pictured) hatched out a whopping twelve! We're five days from our niece and nephews coming up to visit during their vacation and the timing is incredible

Love it. I grew up on a lake and used to "call" in ducks and ducklings for feeding time. Ducks are awesome

They're one of my favorite aspects of life here. We call them to their coop at night with "all ducks, go to bed" but during the day the adults will come check what I'm up to wherever I am.

Thats awesome. One time i went to get a part for my lawn mower and the guy had a box of little peepers peeping behind the counter he was giving away and we almost got a duck that day, but in the end I married a city girl so now we get garbage trucks and ambulances....and one old lazy dog.

Pretty self explanatory. Post animals, post pets, post stuff about animals and pets!
