The bar just fell that far.

The DNC is now the party of the neocons. Maybe Trump is so bad it's "necessary" but arguably in a two party duopoly that's effectively a sealed system, you're just swapping voters with the GOP to wind up still relatively 50/50, and I'm skeptical there's a geographical advantage to upper-crust, legitimately evil former republicans, who don't care for Trump's uncouth antics, as presumably most of those voters live in districts that are already blue-ish. You're literally giving up pro-peace voters in random districts across the country, potentially in tightly contested congressional districts, to run up your VA margin of victory.

Maybe he’ll take up painting, too.

lol you fucking idiots loved him when he was actually committing war crimes. That said, I have yet to see anyone praise him.

That said, I have yet to see anyone praise him.

As someone who lived through 9/11, I remember quite a few folks praising and fawning over him. He was a chronic guest of the Sunday Morning politics talk shows at least until the big GOP defeat in 2006. And he kept getting interviewed on fairly favorable terms, as a critic of Obama's relatively dovish foreign policy, well into Obama's first term. FOX News anchors practically tripped over each other lauding him well into 2016.

He never got the proper "honorable man" / "he kept us safe" retconning that Bush Jr received. Nobody is doing 30 minute segments sitting with Cheney and talking to him about his passion for water colors of feet. But until Trump took the Presidency and really turned the neoconservative movement upside down, it was easy enough to find friendly coverage of the former VP.

Seems like they are concerned that if Dementia DonOLD wins they're going to be put on his hit list. It's a valid concern.

No, he's maybe not a good guy. But he can make least-worse decisions at times.

Unlike the republicans, a person's worth doesn't coincide with their congruence but their congruence coincides with their worth.
